Ado-Ekiti LG Chairman Greets Muslims At Sallah


The Executive Chairman of Ado-Ekiti LG, Hon. Motunde Fajuyi has extended her greetings to all Muslim faithfuls at Eid El-Kabir 

She rejoiced with them for witnessing another Sallah celebration on earth .

"On behalf of Ado-Ekiti LG  I greet and felicitate with all muslim faithfuls  on the celebration of this year's Eid El-Kabir 

"I rejoice with muslim faithfuls for the privilege giving them by Almighty Allah to celebrate this year's Eid El-Kabir"

Hon. Motunde Fajuyi called on Muslim faithfuls in Ado-Ekiti to celebrate Sallah peacefully in their various homes in full compliance with government's directive on physical distancing as ways to curb the spread of coronavirus in Ekiti state.

She urged them to always keep to God's command and constituted authority as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his only son in obedience to God's command 

"I enjoin you to celebrate Sallah peacefully in your various homes without contravening govt's directive that forbids large gathering as ways to curb the spread of coronavirus in our dear state"

The Ado-Ekiti LG Chairman in her greetings wish them happy celebration and pray that Almighty Allah will continue to strengthen them to celebrate more Sallah on earth.

Fatoba Mourns Demise Of Prominent Ado Chief, Eyeigba

The Honourable  member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1,  Hon. Olusola Steve Fatoba has mourned the demise of Ado-Ekiti prominent Chief and  foremost  accountant Chief(Mrs) Abike Sonoiki, the Eiyegba of Ado-Ekiti who gave up the ghost on Thursday, 15th July, 2021. In a statement in Abuja, he described Eiyegba as a character personified, an  intellectual, a caring mother or Aunt who had meritoriously and selflessly served Ekiti State in various capacities as former SSG and Commissioner. According to the lawmaker, Eiyegba would be sorely missed for her wise counsel and motherly role.  Hon. Fatoba prayed that God would grant her eternal rest.

Gulak's Death: Buhari Vows to deploy all resources' to capture culprits

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has expressed outrage and disgust over what he called “the heinous murder of Adamawa politician Ahmed Gulak in Owerri, Imo State by yet to be identified gunmen.” Reacting to the development on Sunday, the President said: “I’m repulsed by such premeditated and gruesome murder of Gulak by evil people who are determined to undermine the peace, unity and territorial integrity of our country.” “Let me warn however that nobody or group of people who engages in such despicable acts should expect to go free.
