EDO 2020: APC Candidate, Pastor Ize Iyamu Visits Royal Father

The All Progressive Congress gubernatorial candidate in Edo state, Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu visited the  palace of His Royal Highness, Edomwonyi Iduozee Ogiegbean, the Enigie of Egbaen town and the President of Enigies in the Benin Kingdom today, July 26th.

The APC candidate was at the palace  to pay homage to the Enigies and present his SIMPLE agenda manifesto in preparation for the upcoming governorship elections in the state come September of this year.

He was there in the company of the leaders of APC in Edo state including the immediate former national Chairman of the party, Comrade and  Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole.

Pastor Ize Iyamu delivered copies of the #POISIMPLEAGENDA and highlighted some of the measures designed to tackle insecurity, particularly the rising cases of kidnapping, through careful investments and partnership with community heads and traditional rulers for crucial local intelligence.

Part of his agenda is to replace the elitist and detached approach of the present government with a functional and true government of the people, by the people, and for the people with felt policies and achievements at the grassroots.

The candidate received  the prayers,  blessings of Enigies and warm reception.

Fatoba Mourns Demise Of Prominent Ado Chief, Eyeigba

The Honourable  member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1,  Hon. Olusola Steve Fatoba has mourned the demise of Ado-Ekiti prominent Chief and  foremost  accountant Chief(Mrs) Abike Sonoiki, the Eiyegba of Ado-Ekiti who gave up the ghost on Thursday, 15th July, 2021. In a statement in Abuja, he described Eiyegba as a character personified, an  intellectual, a caring mother or Aunt who had meritoriously and selflessly served Ekiti State in various capacities as former SSG and Commissioner. According to the lawmaker, Eiyegba would be sorely missed for her wise counsel and motherly role.  Hon. Fatoba prayed that God would grant her eternal rest.
