Fatoba Felicitates With Muslims On Eid-el-Kabir


The House of Representatives member for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1, Hon Olusola Fatoba has congratulated Muslims in his constituency on the celebration of this year's Eid-El-Kabir.

In a statement, the lawmaker, who thanked the adherents of the Islamic faith in his Constituency for their support, described this year's celebration as peculiar, due to the Coronavirus pandemic that is ravaging the world.

While in festive mood, he urged them to use the period of the festival to offer special prayers for the eradication of the virus so that the world could be safe again.

The House of Representatives member advised the faithfuls to celebrate in moderation and in line with the guidelines reeled out by the NCDC, government and the leadership of the faith which outlawed religious congregation for now.

Fatoba also urged them to pray for the speedy recovery of Ekiti state Governor, His Excellency, Dr John Kayode Fayemi and others who tested positive for the virus.

While commending the governor for providing exemplary leadership in the state and the nation at large, the Ado Ekiti born lawmaker also implored Ekiti people to continue with their support for the government and as well comply with the established Covid-19 protocols.

Fatoba Mourns Demise Of Prominent Ado Chief, Eyeigba

The Honourable  member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1,  Hon. Olusola Steve Fatoba has mourned the demise of Ado-Ekiti prominent Chief and  foremost  accountant Chief(Mrs) Abike Sonoiki, the Eiyegba of Ado-Ekiti who gave up the ghost on Thursday, 15th July, 2021. In a statement in Abuja, he described Eiyegba as a character personified, an  intellectual, a caring mother or Aunt who had meritoriously and selflessly served Ekiti State in various capacities as former SSG and Commissioner. According to the lawmaker, Eiyegba would be sorely missed for her wise counsel and motherly role.  Hon. Fatoba prayed that God would grant her eternal rest.

Gulak's Death: Buhari Vows to deploy all resources' to capture culprits
