JKF, A Political Strategist And Formidable Force To Reckon With

The determination of a man to achieve his goal in face of any challenges makes him stronger  and formidable.

It is not an understatement to describe the Executive governor of Ekiti state and Chairman, Nigeria's  Governors'Forum, H.E, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi as a  political strategist and formidable force to reckon with.

His ability to overcome challenges can be deduced from his political journey.

Dr. John Kayode Fayemi is a man that always springs surprise and achieve what many see as impossible.

Let's briefly take a look at his struggle to reclaim the stolen mandate freely giving to him by Ekiti people thirteen years ago.

This happens to be between him and his predecessor then, Chief Segun Oni. It was not an easy task for Dr. John Kayode Fayemi to reclaim his stolen mandate going by various court cases resulting to rerun election which was termed then as a political battle of survival.

It reached a stage that many see the quest of Dr. John Kayode Fayemi to reclaim his stolen mandate from then  federal backed sitting governor as impossible and merely chasing shadow.

But against all odds, he reclaimed his mandate to the amazement of everybody.

Dr. John Kayode Fayemi then, kept hope alive and remained undaunted in his quest to succeed politically.

This singular political feat to reclaim his stolen mandate and achieve what many see as impossible makes him a synochure.

Dr. John Kayode Fayemi kept the tempo rising with his laudable achievements after reclaiming his stolen mandate.

Many developmental projects were executed under his watch as governor during his first tenure. 

Another political challenge came on his way again, six years ago during his second term bid. 

Some of his political  foes rejoiced at his inability to return back as executive governor not knowing that it was a great blessing in disguise.

JKF as he is fondly called went back to drawing board and re-strategised on the next line of political action.

Not long the Party at the top was dismantled which gave way for the progressives to be at the helms of affairs.

H.E, President Muhammadu Buhari became the nation's political leader and number one man. 

Fortunately for H.E, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi, he is in the good book of the power that be and was made the minister of solid minerals going by his numerous contributions during the presidential primaries and campaign.

Being in the presidential cabinet then was another political plus and renewal of political energy to take back power from the monster that outsted him.

His coming back two years ago as Executive governor of our dear state was seen by some people as an impossible mission.

Dr. John Kayode Fayemi's ambition to continue with his aborted mission to reshape Ekiti and restore its eroded values was never  seen by some people as realistic.

Against all odds, he was crowned again to continue with his good work.

He defeated the monster that outsted him then which was described according to him as "political error"

Now in the saddle, he has within two years to the amazement of everybody transformed Ekiti and restored its eroded values.

This can be seen again in his various developmental projects across the sixteen local governments in the state. 

Dr. John Kayode Fayemi has been able to execute more  than Sixty projects which are discernible to all and sundry.

It is no exaggeration that JKF is a special specie destined for greatness. 

The more his detractors try to pull him down the more he continues to wax stronger. 

JKF is a political strategist and a formidable force to reckon with in Nigerian politics.

With his giant strides in Ekiti state, I think he will still be useful for greater things in time to come. 

JKF is a man to watch out for.
