Edo 2020: Buhari Hands Over APC Flag To Ize-Iyamu

Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the September 19, 2020 election, has been handed the party flag by President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday at the state house.

The APC governorship candidate after receiving the APC flag as endorsement for the election made an assurrance  that, the party was united, strong, and ready for victory at the coming election.

This was revealed by the Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the APC, Mai Malla Buni, on Friday.

Buni stated this while briefing State House correspondents after presenting Ize-Iyamu to Buhari.

Reacting to the development, Ize-Iyamu tweeted, “Today at the Villa, I received the flag of our great party, the @OfficialAPCNg, from President @MBuhari as the party’s candidate in the Edo Governorship election.

“Our party is united, strong, and ready for victory at the poll"

Fatoba Mourns Demise Of Prominent Ado Chief, Eyeigba

Olusola Steve Fatoba has mourned the demise of Ado-Ekiti prominent Chief and  foremost  accountant Chief(Mrs) Abike Sonoiki, the Eiyegba of Ado-Ekiti who gave up the ghost on Thursday, 15th July, 2021. In a statement in Abuja, he described Eiyegba as a character personified, an  intellectual, a caring mother or Aunt who had meritoriously and selflessly served Ekiti State in various capacities as former SSG and Commissioner. Gulak's Death: Buhari Vows to deploy all resources' to capture culprits
