Ekiti APC Reconciliation And Peace Conciliation Committee Visit Ado-Ekiti LG Ekiti State APC Peace and
Reconciliation committee led by the former State Chairman of the party, high Chief Jide Awe and other members of the committee today August 25, 2020 visit Ado local government to appease all aggrieved members of the party.
In his speech, he appealed to all party members, especially the aggrieved to see reasons why we must stick together as an invisible entity. We need to "calm down" said the chairman peace and reconciliation committee.
He reported that when he was assigned for the job as chairman, he himself is to be reconciled because he's aggrieved. But as party man, we must not let the beautiful house we labored to build collapsed like it was in 2014.
It's a misnomer to call oneself a stakeholder or politician but rather true party member, said Chief Jide Awe. We are all critical to the success of the party.
When the activities to enthrone our party into power, every members are stakeholders. Why is it that whenever the party gets into power, we hardly manage the success? It won't be so this time around. All party members can't be appointed at ones but it can be fair enough if all political appointees do not dissociate from other members of the party.
Every members who is aggrieved shall have his or her grievances recorded and presented in a report that will be submitted to Mr. Governor for proper redress. In the midst of continuous crisis, the ill winds blow nobody no food. He appealed to all members to desist from peddling rumors that can be inimical to the sustainability of the party.
Moreover all aggrieved members were allowed to pour out their grievances to the committee for proper record. The chairman committee appealed to all to calm down.
The meeting was brought to a close in unison.
