Ekiti Govt. Signs MOU with Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company........To increase access to finance for homeowners


 Ekiti State government under the leadership of His Excellency, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi  has signed a memorandum of understanding with Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company  to increase access to finance for home owners in Ekiti State.

The C.E.O of Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company, Mr Kehinde Ogundimu with Ekiti State SSG, Mr. Abiodun Oyebanji.

The MOU was signed on behalf of Dr. John kayode Fayemi by the Secretary to Ekiti State government, Mr. Abiodun Oyebanji with the Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company, Mr. Kehinde Ogundimu.

The partnership comes on the heels of the newly enacted Mortgage and Foreclosure Law in Ekiti which will ensure the State’s mortgage industry experiences significant growth.

Fatoba Mourns Demise Of Prominent Ado Chief, Eyeigba

The Honourable  member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1,  Hon. Olusola Steve Fatoba has mourned the demise of Ado-Ekiti prominent Chief and  foremost  accountant Chief(Mrs) Abike Sonoiki, the Eiyegba of Ado-Ekiti who gave up the ghost on Thursday, 15th July, 2021. In a statement in Abuja, he described Eiyegba as a character personified, an  intellectual, a caring mother or Aunt who had meritoriously and selflessly served Ekiti State in various capacities as former SSG and Commissioner. According to the lawmaker, Eiyegba would be sorely missed for her wise counsel and motherly role.  Hon. Fatoba prayed that God would grant her eternal rest.
