Today 31st of August 2020 Ekiti State Governor Dr. Kayode Fayemi inspects the following ongoing projects in Ekiti to see the level of work done

1. Oja Oba market in Ado Ekiti

2. Ureje bridge

 David Oke Secondary School in Ikere a new school named after an illustrious son of the state.

....Vows to take action on criminals  I receive daily security reports on the attacks on critical national infrastructure, and it is very clear that those behind them want this administration to fail. Whoever wants the destruction of the system will soon have the shock of their lives. We’ve given them enough time. I received a briefing today from the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on the series of attacks on their facilities nationwide. These attacks are totally unacceptable, and we will not allow those behind them to achieve their evil objectives. I have assured INEC that we will make available to them everything they need to operate efficiently, so that no one will say we don’t want to go, or that we want a third term. Ekiti 2022: PDP Ward Leaders And Chairmen in Ikere-Ekiti Local Government Endorse Fayose's Candidate, Bisi Kolawole

Ward Chairmen and leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ikere-Ekiti Local Government Area of the state has abandoned their son, former Deputy Governor of the state, Professor Olusola Eleka and pitched tent with the Ayodele Fayose camp championing the aspiration of Chief Bisi Kolawole. All the ward leaders were led to Fayose’s Lagos home for loyalty pledging by former House of Representatives member representing Ekiti South 2, Hon. Segun Adeola.  Thereafter, the ward leaders pledged to work for the aspiration of Bisi Kolawole thereafter referred to as their in-law. Speaking on behalf of the group, the Vice Chairman from Agbado-oyo ward promised that they’ll do all in their various capacities to deliver for Kolawole in the next party primary.
