Udiroko 2020 & 30 Years Coronation Anniversary: Fatoba Greet And Felicitate With Ewi

I, Hon. Olusola Steve Fatoba, Member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1 through this medium greet and Felicitate with His Royal Majesty, Oba(Dr) Rufus Aladesanmi III Adeyemo Adejugbe, the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti on the celebration of this year's Udiroko festival and 30 years coronation Anniversary.

Kabiesi, I thank God for keeping you alive and healthy to celebrate another festive year and 30 years coronation anniversary  on earth despite the challenges of Corona virus pandemic.

I equally extend my greetings to Eyesorun, Olori Abosede Adejugbe, members of the Ewi-In-Council, all Ado sons and daughters as we celebrate UDIROKO which marks the beginning of a new year calender and celebration of our cultural heritage.

Your ascendance to the throne of your fore-fathers 30 years ago has brought peace, joy and progress to Ado-Ekiti.

Fatoba Mourns Demise Of Prominent Ado Chief, Eyeigba

The Honourable  member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1,  Hon. Olusola Steve Fatoba has mourned the demise of Ado-Ekiti prominent Chief and  foremost  accountant Chief(Mrs) Abike Sonoiki, the Eiyegba of Ado-Ekiti who gave up the ghost on Thursday, 15th July, 2021. In a statement in Abuja, he described Eiyegba as a character personified, an  intellectual, a caring mother or Aunt who had meritoriously and selflessly served Ekiti State in various capacities as former SSG and Commissioner. According to the lawmaker, Eiyegba would be sorely missed for her wise counsel and motherly role.  Hon. Fatoba prayed that God would grant her eternal rest.

Gulak's Death: Buhari Vows to deploy all resources' to capture culprits

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has expressed outrage and disgust over what he called “the heinous murder of Adamawa politician Ahmed Gulak in Owerri, Imo State by yet to be identified gunmen.” Reacting to the development on Sunday, the President said: “I’m repulsed by such premeditated and gruesome murder of Gulak by evil people who are determined to undermine the peace, unity and territorial integrity of our country.” “Let me warn however that nobody or group of people who engages in such despicable acts should expect to go free.
