Police Report exposes Lere Olayinka's Wazobiareportersng.com yet again as unreliable in news breaking

By Wasiu Owolewa, Ado-Ekiti

A police report has exposed and refuted  the unsubstantiated report published by one online news platform called, "Wazobiareportersng.com" owned by Mr Lere Olayinka to blackmail and  paint in bad light the VC of Ekiti state University(EKSU) Prof. Eddy Olanipekun as regards the vehicular accident that occured on the 18th of May, 2020.

Mr Lere in his report had accused the VC's convoy of causing the accident on that fateful day.

But the police in its report which was made available to our correspondent attributed the cause of the accident to the act of negligence and recklessness on the part of the Mustibushi's driver that ran into the VC's convoy leading to injuries of both the Sienna driver and two of its occupants.

According to the report, victims of the motor accident were immediately rushed to Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado-Ekiti for treatment and the damaged vehicle evacuated to police station for safe keeping.

The Police Report
The police stated further in its report that statement of the Sienna driver was taken while that of the Mustibushi's driver  would be taken under word of caution.

Mr Lere has earlier in his unsubstantiated report attributed the cause of the accident to the VC's escort which was found to be far away from the truth through the police report.

The police report clearly absolves the pilot vehicle of any blame and hence our reason for describing Lere Olayinka as a sentimental and emotional blackmailer.

Recall that  a motor accident had on 18th of May occured along Ado/Iworoko road involving the convoy  of Prof. Eddy Olanipekun, EKSU's VC and a Mustibushi Car leading to multiple injuries of the convoy's driver and its occupants.
