Ado-Ekiti LG Chairman Swears In LG Supervisors, Special Advisers And Chief of Staff

The Executive Chairman of Ado-Ekiti LG, Hon. Motunde Fajuyi has sworn-in all the local government Supervisory Councilors, Special advisers  and Chief of Staff on 13th, October 2020

Before administering the oath office on the new LG appointees, Hon. Motunde Fajuyi enjoined them to give the present administration in Ekiti state under the able leadership of H .E Dr John Kayode Fayemi all the needed support.

She also added that the LG appointees should see themselves as one and work towards the development of Ado-Ekiti.


Speaking in the same vain, APC party Chairman in Ado-Ekiti LG, Hon. Mike Akinleye called on the Supervisors and Special Advisers to work hand in hand with the  chairman so that a better Ado-Ekiti can be achieved. 

Speaking on behalf other LG appointees, Hon. Tunde Omotosho thanked the Executive governor of Ekiti state, H.E, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi, the Chairman, and other APC stakeholders for the privilege giving them to serve their people.

Hon. Omotosho assured the LG Chairman of their unflinching support and loyalty at all time.

The swearing-in ceremony which was well attended by  APC party leaders, members, non-partisan members, LG officials, Ward Councilors took place at Ado-Ekiti Marriage registry hall.

The Supervisory Councilors, Special Advisers and Chief of Staff sworn in yesterday were:

Fatoba Mourns Demise Of Prominent Ado Chief, Eyeigba

The Honourable  member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1,  Hon. Olusola Steve Fatoba has mourned the demise of Ado-Ekiti prominent Chief and  foremost  accountant Chief(Mrs) Abike Sonoiki, the Eiyegba of Ado-Ekiti who gave up the ghost on Thursday, 15th July, 2021. In a statement in Abuja, he described Eiyegba as a character personified, an  intellectual, a caring mother or Aunt who had meritoriously and selflessly served Ekiti State in various capacities as former SSG and Commissioner. According to the lawmaker, Eiyegba would be sorely missed for her wise counsel and motherly role.  Hon. Fatoba prayed that God would grant her eternal rest.

Gulak's Death: Buhari Vows to deploy all resources' to capture culprits

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has expressed outrage and disgust over what he called “the heinous murder of Adamawa politician Ahmed Gulak in Owerri, Imo State by yet to be identified gunmen.” Reacting to the development on Sunday, the President said: “I’m repulsed by such premeditated and gruesome murder of Gulak by evil people who are determined to undermine the peace, unity and territorial integrity of our country.” “Let me warn however that nobody or group of people who engages in such despicable acts should expect to go free.
