Drama as #End SARS protesters kill cow on highway



The #EndSARS protest is becoming interesting as protesters come up with different things on daily basis across the various locations where they gathered together to say no to police brutality. 

This evening, along the Ijebu-Ode axis of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, protesters came out with a cow which they killed on the road. 

Since morning, they have gathered near the bridge, blocking the all-important expressway, and making it difficult for motorists to move.

As the dusk approached, they brought out a big cow. 


There on the road, the cow was slaughtered. They removed the fur by burning. Also, the intestines were removed and everything was prepared for cooking. 

Many have continued to wonder who is bankrolling the protesters across the nation. 

It will be recalled that there has been free feeding in Lagos, Abuja, Abeokuta and other places where the #EndSARS protests are taking place. 


The youths have refused to stop the protest, even with the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad unit of the police. 

The #EndSARS protest, which initially began on Twitter has now gained international recognition as celebrities across the globe identified with the Nigerian youth.

Fatoba Mourns Demise Of Prominent Ado Chief, Eyeigba

The Honourable  member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1,  Hon. Olusola Steve Fatoba has mourned the demise of Ado-Ekiti prominent Chief and  foremost  accountant Chief(Mrs) Abike Sonoiki, the Eiyegba of Ado-Ekiti who gave up the ghost on Thursday, 15th July, 2021. In a statement in Abuja, he described Eiyegba as a character personified, an  intellectual, a caring mother or Aunt who had meritoriously and selflessly served Ekiti State in various capacities as former SSG and Commissioner. According to the lawmaker, Eiyegba would be sorely missed for her wise counsel and motherly role.  Hon. Fatoba prayed that God would grant her eternal rest.

Gulak's Death: Buhari Vows to deploy all resources' to capture culprits

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has expressed outrage and disgust over what he called “the heinous murder of Adamawa politician Ahmed Gulak in Owerri, Imo State by yet to be identified gunmen.” Reacting to the development on Sunday, the President said: “I’m repulsed by such premeditated and gruesome murder of Gulak by evil people who are determined to undermine the peace, unity and territorial integrity of our country.” “Let me warn however that nobody or group of people who engages in such despicable acts should expect to go free.
