Ekiti @24, Nigeria @60: Fatoba Greets Buhari, Fayemi And Nigerians


I, Hon. Olusola Steve Fatoba, member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1, through this medium felicitate and greet  Our President, Muhammadu Buhari and the good people of Nigeria on the celebration of  Nigeria's 60th  Independence anniversary 

I am equally using this opportunity to extend my greetings to the governor of Ekiti state, His Excellency, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi and the good people of Ekiti on the 24th year of the creation of our dear state.

We give God the glory for keeping the country together as one entity in face of various challenges in the last sixty years of our independence

As we are in the mood of celebration, I am calling on all well meaning  Nigerians to join hands together with our president so that the vision and mission of a better Nigeria can come into reality.

Let's also endeavor to get ourselves more involved in what will strengthen the unity of this country towards greater development. 

As we are celebrating Nigeria's 60th Independence Anniversary and 24th year of the creation of Ekiti state respectively. I pray for their success, peace and unity.

Fatoba Mourns Demise Of Prominent Ado Chief, Eyeigba

The Honourable  member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1,  Hon. Olusola Steve Fatoba has mourned the demise of Ado-Ekiti prominent Chief and  foremost  accountant Chief(Mrs) Abike Sonoiki, the Eiyegba of Ado-Ekiti who gave up the ghost on Thursday, 15th July, 2021. In a statement in Abuja, he described Eiyegba as a character personified, an  intellectual, a caring mother or Aunt who had meritoriously and selflessly served Ekiti State in various capacities as former SSG and Commissioner. According to the lawmaker, Eiyegba would be sorely missed for her wise counsel and motherly role.  Hon. Fatoba prayed that God would grant her eternal rest.

Gulak's Death: Buhari Vows to deploy all resources' to capture culprits

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has expressed outrage and disgust over what he called “the heinous murder of Adamawa politician Ahmed Gulak in Owerri, Imo State by yet to be identified gunmen.” Reacting to the development on Sunday, the President said: “I’m repulsed by such premeditated and gruesome murder of Gulak by evil people who are determined to undermine the peace, unity and territorial integrity of our country.” “Let me warn however that nobody or group of people who engages in such despicable acts should expect to go free.
