Excitement as Ado-Ekiti LG disburses cash to market women as business support to mark JKF 2nd year anniversary

To many, a lasting solution and to a few, respite it was; to all, it was joy all the way of some market women in Ado-Ekiti today as the Executive Chairman of Ado-Ekiti LG, Hon. Motunde Fajuyi led the management and the legislature of the council to disburse cash to them as part of activities to mark JKF 2nd year anniversary.
The cash disbursement was carried out in some major markets in Ado-Ekiti such as Enu odi, irona, Okesha, ojido markets.
The targeted beneficiaries were mainly petty traders mostly women who trade in vegetables, fruits and food stuff who need some stipend to support or boost their businesses.
While speaking with newsmen after the cash disbursement, the Executive Chairman said the programme was carried out to support the market women financially and to compliment the effort of Dr. John Kayode Fayemi's administration at the grassroot.
Hon. Motunde Fajuyi who took time to highlight the various laudable achievements of governor John Kayode Fayemi's administration in Ekiti state added that giving financial support to market women in Ado-Ekiti with a view to boosting their businesses was seen as one of the best ways to celebrate JKF 2nd year anniversary in office.
She urged the beneficiaries to keep on praying for the success of Dr Fayemi's administration so that the dividend of democracy can be more enjoyed by them.
Some of the market women who spoke with newsman heaped praises on JKF's administration and that of the local government under the leadership of Hon. Motunde Fajuyi.
One of the beneficiaries of today's cash disbursement, Mrs Sidikatu Adeleye said, "I am highly impressed and thankful for the kind gesture because the stipend given to me will improve my business. May God continue to bless JKF"
Other market men and women also spoke in the same vein and prayed for the continual success of governor Fayemi as he marked his 2nd year anniversary today.
More than 120 men and women beneficiaries were touched.
In the team of Ado-Ekiti LG Chairman for today's cash disbursement were ward councillors, Supervisors, Special advisers, LG D.A, Vice Chairman, Secretary, APC party leaders and LG management staff.
