Fatoba, Epitomizing The Moral Ethos Of Omoluabi

Before a person can be said to have imbibed the moral ethos of Omoluabi  and adjudged to be a progressive he or she must have shown it according to Bryron R. Pulsifer, "In his commitment of love , honesty, and compassion for others"

At this juncture, I will like to take Hon. Olusola Steve Fatoba, a sitting member house of representatives representing  Central Federal Constituency 1 whose birthday we are celebrating  today as a good example of a  person with Omoluabi and progressive trait.

Celebrating this refined Ado-Ekiti born politician 
without taking a look at some of his personal qualities and contributions towards the development of his society will be  like erecting a  magnificent structure without roofing it.

Hon. Fatoba without mincing word has been living his life based on the moral ethos of Omoluabi.

His humble background breeds or invokes this trait in him. There is what Yoruba called "Abinibi" meaning something that someone is born with, such can be said of him.

Hon. Fatoba is an humble man of great intellect and foresight that is more passionate about his people's welfare.

This can be seen in his outstanding performance in the last one year as Reps. member with discernible laudable projects in his constituency.

Hon. Fatoba has made us to know with his performance in the last one year that,  a Reps. member can execute laudable projects and bring dividend of democracy to the door step of his people.

There is no magic wand for his wonderful feat than the moral ethos of Omoluabi in him. 

He is of the school of thought that believes that,  attainment of political position is an opportunity to better the lot of the people and not to amass wealth.

He has been guided by this moral ethos without deviating from it even before becoming a political office holder.

His benevolence is without boundary and simple life style of great note. He has always been with his people and very accommodating.

Besides, he is a listening leader that is willing to help and can go to any length to make life more comfortable for his people.

Hon. Fatoba with closer examination has never for once allow the ego of his current political status to becloud the sense of responsibility to his fellow  Constituents. He is such a wonderful and special specie that one can emulate. 

As he clocks another year today, I  pray for his longevity and continual success in office.

May God Almighty continue to lead him  through and strengthen the bond of love between him and his constituents

Fatoba Mourns Demise Of Prominent Ado Chief, Eyeigba

The Honourable  member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1,  Hon. Olusola Steve Fatoba has mourned the demise of Ado-Ekiti prominent Chief and  foremost  accountant Chief(Mrs) Abike Sonoiki, the Eiyegba of Ado-Ekiti who gave up the ghost on Thursday, 15th July, 2021. In a statement in Abuja, he described Eiyegba as a character personified, an  intellectual, a caring mother or Aunt who had meritoriously and selflessly served Ekiti State in various capacities as former SSG and Commissioner. According to the lawmaker, Eiyegba would be sorely missed for her wise counsel and motherly role.  Hon. Fatoba prayed that God would grant her eternal rest.

Gulak's Death: Buhari Vows to deploy all resources' to capture culprits

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has expressed outrage and disgust over what he called “the heinous murder of Adamawa politician Ahmed Gulak in Owerri, Imo State by yet to be identified gunmen.” Reacting to the development on Sunday, the President said: “I’m repulsed by such premeditated and gruesome murder of Gulak by evil people who are determined to undermine the peace, unity and territorial integrity of our country.” “Let me warn however that nobody or group of people who engages in such despicable acts should expect to go free.
