Other PDP governors including Wike set to join APC says Yahaya Bello

 

Sequel to  the defection of Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Governor  Yahaya Bello of Kogi State says his counterpart in Rivers State, Nyesom Wike may soon join the ruling party.

Bello also said other governors of the opposition party are planning to join the APC, adding that Wike might be the last to dump the PDP.

The governor said this while featuring on
Channels Television’s Politics Today programme on Thursday, November 19, 2020.

He said Governor Umahi joined the APC because he believed in the administration and policies of the party, adding that other PDP governors including Wike are lining up to join the ruling party.

Fatoba Mourns Demise Of Prominent Ado Chief, Eyeigba

The Honourable  member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1,  Hon. Olusola Steve Fatoba has mourned the demise of Ado-Ekiti prominent Chief and  foremost  accountant Chief(Mrs) Abike Sonoiki, the Eiyegba of Ado-Ekiti who gave up the ghost on Thursday, 15th July, 2021. In a statement in Abuja, he described Eiyegba as a character personified, an  intellectual, a caring mother or Aunt who had meritoriously and selflessly served Ekiti State in various capacities as former SSG and Commissioner. According to the lawmaker, Eiyegba would be sorely missed for her wise counsel and motherly role.  Hon. Fatoba prayed that God would grant her eternal rest.
