Buhari To Address Nigerians On Jan. 1

 
President Muhammadu Buhari will make a New Year broadcast to the nation Friday, January 1, 2021 at 7am.

Television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to join the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively, for the broadcast.

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has called for international support to ramp up development efforts in the Niger Basin area which is currently home to more than 160 million people who depend on the River for their livelihoods.   Buhari said this in Abuja on Thursday while declaring open the virtual 12th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Niger Basin Authority.
