Fayemi Flaggs Off Construction Of Four Rural Roads In Ekiti state

 
 
In fulfilment of his  electoral promise to open up  farmstead  in each community to boost the economy of the state through agriculture, Ekiti state governor, Dr John Kayode Fayemi has flagged off construction of four rural roads in the state.

The flagging off ceremony was performed by the state deputy governor, His Excellency, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi who stood in for the governor at the ceremony.

The roads includes
5.2km Ogotun-Alagbede Road
2.32km Iyin-Odo-Aroto Road
5.2km Ago-aduloju Road
4.9km Imesi- Kosomolate-Ipole road
3.48km FMS-Oke Ako road

These four roads are pilot roads while the other community roads will be considered soonest.

The construction and rehabilitation of 25.55km rural road under  the Ekiti state rural access and agricultural marketing project RAAMP is supported by the world bank and French development agency to improve rural access and agricultural marketing in selected participating states.
