Easter: Fatoba Greets Christian faithfuls


....Urges Them To Show Love To One Another

Member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1, Hon. Olusola Steve  has sent his  greetings to all Christian faithfuls in Ekiti state on the occasion of this year's Easter celebration. 

The Federal lawmaker in a message personally signed by him in Ado-Ekiti  congratulated Christians in Ekiti state and Nigeria as a whole for the successful completion of the 40-day fast. 

Hon. Fatoba in his message called on Christians to see the period of Easter not only for celebration but as sober reflection and an opportunity to move closer to God by doing away with all ungodly act

"We can only justify the selfless sacrifice made by our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of calvary and his resurrection  which birthed the period of Easter by threading on the path of truth and showing true love to one another"

The Federal Lawmaker also extends his greetings to the Executive governor of Ekiti state, His Excellency, Dr John Kayode Fayemi, his wife, Her Excellency, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, the deputy governor, His Excellency,  Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, royal fathers in Ado, Irepodun/Ifelodun, APC party leaders and other stakeholders in Ekiti state.

Hon. Fatoba on a final note urged Christians to celebrate in moderation and keep to all COVID-19 safety protocol. He wished them happy celebration.

Fatoba Mourns Demise Of Prominent Ado Chief, Eyeigba

The Honourable  member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1,  Hon. Olusola Steve Fatoba has mourned the demise of Ado-Ekiti prominent Chief and  foremost  accountant Chief(Mrs) Abike Sonoiki, the Eiyegba of Ado-Ekiti who gave up the ghost on Thursday, 15th July, 2021. In a statement in Abuja, he described Eiyegba as a character personified, an  intellectual, a caring mother or Aunt who had meritoriously and selflessly served Ekiti State in various capacities as former SSG and Commissioner. According to the lawmaker, Eiyegba would be sorely missed for her wise counsel and motherly role.  Hon. Fatoba prayed that God would grant her eternal rest.

Gulak's Death: Buhari Vows to deploy all resources' to capture culprits

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has expressed outrage and disgust over what he called “the heinous murder of Adamawa politician Ahmed Gulak in Owerri, Imo State by yet to be identified gunmen.” Reacting to the development on Sunday, the President said: “I’m repulsed by such premeditated and gruesome murder of Gulak by evil people who are determined to undermine the peace, unity and territorial integrity of our country.” “Let me warn however that nobody or group of people who engages in such despicable acts should expect to go free.
