PDP Moves To Suspend Dokpesi, Mike Ogiadomhe, Others

Following the reported move to dissolve the Peoples Democratic Party PDP executive committee at all levels in Edo state, it has now emerged that majority of the party’s chieftains behind the proposal would be suspended.

It was learnt that Chief Raymond Dokpesi, Tom Ikimi, Mike Ogiadomhe, Charles Idahosa, Philip Suiabu, Anselm Ojuzua, Mrs. Omolulu and some other members who have been actively involved in the anti-party campaigns concerning the desolution of the State Working Committee, which eventually failed after the governor backtracked from the illegality are being recommended for suspension.

It has earlier been  reported that the PDP in Edo Central, rising from an emergency meeting on Thursday suspended a former External Affairs Minister, Chief Tom Ikimi.

It was said that these elements within the party has gone into a meeting with the governor where they all agreed that the state exco be dissolved even when they, as party members, knew it was not only illegal to do so, but that the matter was subjudice; that is was in court and nothing can be done until there is a court judgement on it. This the source said it’s a clear and flagrant disrespect of the party constitution and the leaders of the party by the few fringe members of the party who have no known electoral values and have been want-away members for long.

It was also said by the source that the rejoinders written by the said Dokpesi, Mike Ogiadomhe and Tom Ikimi was a further proof to show they were actually working against the party in an illegal occupation, which will be used as evidence against them. Their actions, the source said was a way to sell the party cheaply to the Philip cabal so that they can move the entire party to APC for his 2024 ominous ambition of becoming the governor of the state even when he didn’t win his ward or LGA during the last gubernatorial election even as a sitting deputy governor.

Other two major individuals targeted are Charles Idahosa, who had said he and his men are being driven to APC like it happened before because their injurious attempt to the coup d’ etat did not come to fruition. It is said nobody knows if he really decamped to PDP in his unit but is loudest when it comes to issues since he is a recruit of the governor.

Another known foot soldier spotted is one Mrs Omolulu from Owan. Even when the governor had called for truce to find a way out after the failed coup, it was said by an inside source that she is still campaigning vigorously that there must be ‘desolution and integration’ as championed by the new PDP without an iota of genuiness. It was gathered that the drugged mentally impaired Omolulu has been recruited with others to insult Chief Dan Orbih for being behind the one who scuttled the coup. She is said to be a known traducer in the party who’s trade in stock is to insult party leaders and cause disaffection. It was said she has been on drugs and has an imbalance lifestyle. It was also gathered that she contested as the PDP Publicity Secretary but failed woefully to one Hilary and has since been blaming Dan Orbih for his dysmal performance.
